Responsibilities
- Works under the direction of the Lead Technician.
- Assist with wire install and verifying wire is free of shorts or grounds.
- Assist with the installation of Fire Alarm devices.
- Assist with pre-testing the Fire Alarm System prior to final inspection.
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems under the guidance of experienced technicians.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Participate in ongoing training and development programs.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Fire Alarm experience preferred but not required.
- Strong interest in fire alarm systems and safety.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems preferred but not required.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Knowledge of fire alarm systems preferred but not required.
- Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
